The Woodlands area is about to get a taste of Tex-Mex with the upcoming opening of Baja Sur Fresh-Mex and Tequila Bar in Creekside Park West. The new restaurant is the brainchild of local restaurateurs John Amato and Jason Daly, owners of J. Henry’s Draught House & Kitchen of Houston and Craft 96 Draught House + Kitchen of League City.
Located in a 4,472-square-foot space with a 1,420-square-foot patio, Baja Sur will offer a unique take on traditional Tex-Mex cuisine. Executive Chef and Operational Partner Coco Hogue has been inspired by a variety of Hispanic and Latin cultures, and will create dishes that showcase fresh, locally sourced ingredients with traditional techniques from various regions. The restaurant will also feature an impressive selection of unique, tequila-centric craft cocktails.
“We are thrilled to bring Baja Sur to The Woodlands,” said Daly. “It’s a great area and we think Baja Sur will be a great addition to the neighborhood. We can’t wait for people to come and enjoy all that Baja Sur has to offer.”
Baja Sur is the latest retail option to open at Creekside Park West, joining anchor tenant Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas The Woodlands, which opened in November. The center offers 30,000 available square feet for retailers, including Baja Sur’s space, along with two open pad sites on Kuykendahl Road.
The Woodlands community can look forward to welcoming Baja Sur this summer. With its unique menu and selection of craft cocktails, Baja Sur is sure to become a local favorite.
